The week that followed after the first night we’d gotten truly intimate had been one of discovery. Mateo was still adamant about not having sex, but everything else was on the table. I spent my days anxiously anticipating the hours between when he came home from work and when we would fall asleep in each other’s arms, sated and exhausted.
One of Mateo’s college friends was allowing us to use his beachfront vacation home in the Hamptons while he and his family were in Greece and I was crazy excited about it. I knew four uninterrupted days with Mateo was going to be phenomenal. We’d packed together on Wednesday night so we’d be ready to go when he came home from work at lunch on Thursday.
We’d fully intended to go the instant he came home but then we saw each other and one thing lead to another. Needless to say, it was another hour before we got out of the apartment but that was okay since both of us were completely blissed out.
Mateo drove us out to the Hamptons in his dark blue convertible Mercedes E550. The one thing I didn’t miss about Spain was the security. It was nice to be able to be totally alone with no one following along after us. I knew that once Mateo started working at Cruz Saez that would change, but until then I planned to thoroughly enjoy the freedom.
When we got into town, we stopped at the supermarket and did some quick shopping. After we had finished up there, we drove through town with the top down on our way to his friend’s home. The sky was a perfect sunshine soaked blue with a few fluffy clouds spread out as far as the eye could see. I found myself relaxing easily into the beach atmosphere, thoroughly embracing the salty scent of sea and sand that hung in the air. The most recent Bruno Mars album played on the radio as I took photos of dunes, sea grass and Mateo at the wheel. The way the wind whipped his hair around was just about the sexiest thing ever and seeing him so relaxed and happy made everything perfect. He steered the car with his left hand while his right rested on my thigh, just another reminder of the connection we shared. I took several photos to document it all, knowing I’d want to remember it forever.
We pulled up to the house just after four. It was a large house on one of the quiet beach roads that didn’t allow parking along the side of the road. That meant it was a nice and quiet area with no crowds. The interior of the house was lovely and the view of the ocean was gorgeous. One of the decks had an inviting looking blue pool while the level below led out to a long walkway straight to the beach. We made quick work of unpacking the car and putting the groceries away and then separated so Mateo could take the top off the hot tub for us.
